Yes. Airtel Customers can make advance payments for any speed plan, provided they have an active plan. Advance payment allows customers to pay for any plan and use after the current plan expires.

Yes. The 5G Routers can work in non-5G covered areas. The Router will fall back to Airtel’s advanced 4G network and you will experience close to 5G speeds.

No. Customers are restricted to buying the device data bundles only.

No. The offer is only applicable to devices bought from Airtel stores or Airtel Partner stores along with the bundled SIM cards.

The 5G Smart Connect outdoor units are only available in Lusaka, Kitwe and Ndola through the Airtel stores or Promoters, while the 5G indoor units are available countrywide.

The Outdoor unit comes with an extended external antenna which operates as a booster, to provide the best internet experience.

Terms and Condition

Infi-net Speed bundles

  1. Infi-net Speed bundles refer to the speed-based data bundles available to the Airtel 4G Smart Box and 5G Router home broadband devices on Airtel.
  2. There are two available Infi-net Speed bundles:
    • 20Mbps Bundle
    • 50Mbps Bundle
  3. Customers can only access speeds up to the limit defined for the Infi-net bundle to which they have subscribed.
  4. The Infi-net bundles are only available for home broadband devices supplied by Airtel.
  5. All Infi-net Speed bundles have a validity period of 30 days.
  6. Applicable Fair Usage Policy:
    • 20Mbps Bundle: Initial speed up to 20Mbps. After reaching 850GB usage, the speed will be reduced to 2Mbps for the remainder of the validity period.
    • 50Mbps Bundle: Initial speed up to 50Mbps. After reaching 1500GB usage, the speed will be reduced to 2Mbps for the remainder of the validity period.
  7. The Infi-net Speed bundles do not accumulate.
  8. When a customer purchases an Infi-net Speed bundle while another valid Infi-net Speed bundle is active, usage priority will follow a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach.
  9. The maximum speed of Infi-net Speed bundles is not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond Airtel's control, including network availability and the number of devices connected to the Airtel 4G Smart Box or 5G Router.
  10. Customers using Infi-net Speed bundles receive bandwidth-based speeds, which are shared evenly among all devices connected to the 4G/5G Router.
  11. Airtel does not offer priority browsing or discriminate based on subscribed services. Customers using Infi-net Speed bundles will not receive priority browsing.
  12. Airtel reserves the right to amend or alter these terms, conditions, and benefits at any time.
  13. Customers are notified of their data usage at 60%, 90%, and 100% of the Fair Usage Policy threshold.
  14. The usage volume of Infi-net Speed bundles is unlimited during the validity period. The bundles provide internet connectivity throughout the full 30-day validity period, provided the customer has a valid and active bundle.

  1. Unlimited Speed Plans refer to the speed-based data Plans available to the 5G Smart connect home broadband devices on Airtel.
  2. The unlimited Plans are only available for the home broadband devices that are supplied by Airtel.
  3. The unlimited speed Plans are Infinite in nature and have uncapped volume.
  4. All unlimited speed Plans have a validity period of 30, 90 & 180 days and allow customers to make advance payment.
  5. Fair Usage Policy is applicable to the unlimited speed Plans as below:
    • 20Mbps Bundle: Customer will be throttled at 2Mbps after attaining 850GBs usage volume within 30 days.
    • 50Mbps Bundle: Customer will be throttled at 2Mbps after attaining 1,500GBs usage volume within 30 days.
    • Customers with long validity plans, i.e 90 and 180 days will get 850GB and 1,500GB for 20Mbps and 50Mbps as Fair usage quota in 30 days cycles.
  6. The unlimited Speed Plans do not accumulate.
  7. Where a customer purchases the two different unlimited speed Plans at the same time, the second plan will be considered as an advance payment and priority on usage will be based on FIFO (First in, first out)
  8. Start date for the advance payment will run from the end date of the active plan and expiry based on its validity.
  9. Customers will not use more than the defined speeds for each unlimited bundle subscribed to. i.e Customers using the 20Mbps will access data speeds of not greater than 20Mbps.
  10. The Speed for each bundle name is not guaranteed maximum speed, furthermore, maximum speed is subject to other network factors, such as connected customers, network availability etc. 11. Customers using unlimited

  12. Airtel does not offer priority browsing or discriminate customers based on services subscribed to. Customers using the unlimited speed Plans will not be given priority browsing.
