A security deposit is a payment made by a customer during onboarding to a Postpaid service. It serves as a financial assurance that helps us continue providing seamless service while minimizing the risk of unpaid bills. This deposit ensures a smooth and secure experience for both the customer and the service provider.

Your credit limit is the airtime allowance you are assigned monthly, which enables you to make calls, send SMS, and purchase data bundles. It is credited to your line on the 1st of each month and starts from ₦5,000 and above.

Yes. Your credit limit can be used for:

  • Local & international voice calls
  • Local & international SMS
  • Data bundles
  • Roaming services

If your credit limit is exhausted, you will not be able to make calls, send SMS, or use other billable services until the limit is restored.

You can:

  • Visit any Airtel Service Centre to request a credit limit upgrade (additional security deposit is required), or
  • Recharge your line like a prepaid customer to continue using services.

Once your documents are verified and approved, your postpaid line will be active within 24 hours

Airtel prioritizes your data privacy. All personal information provided during onboarding is handled securely and in compliance with data protection standards.

An itemized bill is generated and sent to the email address provided during onboarding. Bills are sent on or before the 7th day of every new month.

You will be contacted by Airtel. If payment is still not made, your line may be restricted until the outstanding balance is settled.
